Ya’aburnee
Arabic – Both morbid and beautiful at once, this incantatory word means “You bury me,” a declaration of one’s hope that they’ll die before another person because of how difficult it would be to live without them.
All my Lebanese friends say this and we don’t say this in Egypt so I never understood it so I asked one of my Lebanese friends to explain it to me once and shes like idk people just say it for no reason. I realized after writing that story that there wasn’t really any point to it and I hope no one reads it cuz it’ll probably just waste their time. bye.
